Organizations must realize what it means to utilize data quality management in support of business strategy. Data quality management calls for data to be captured right the first time, validated through automated means, and integrated into business processes. For any size organization, consistency is vital in data processes, but for a nationwide organization such as Feeding America, ‘data first’ methods are key to utilizing data as an asset.

In this session, hear from the Director of Research at Feeding America about their initiative to create a framework for collecting their client profiles at food bank locations across the nation. Establishing such a framework allows organizations to more efficiently evaluate their data and ensure the best quality. This testimonial will review techniques and tools developed for the organization's needs and how to troubleshoot the inevitable practice pitfalls.

  • Learn why utilizing data quality engineering is important to support your business strategy.
  • Understand the business need for a data governance framework.
  • Identify opportunities to help drive your organization to a data driven culture.
  • Identify possible data defects and how to account for them in your practices.
