Data governance programs are becoming common place, although their implementation are still considered challenging. The suggestions provided were developed based on considerable research, expert advice and trial-and-error over the past two years.

Specific details will be provided for:

  • Program strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Developing a culture of accountability
  • Implementation of a data glossary
  • Formulation of standard reference data and translations to source systems
  • Composition of business data lineage
The information will provide how-to instructions as well as common pitfalls to ensure data management and governance professionals have effective tools they can use immediately.
